EXID More Popular than EXO, Big Bang, Girls' Generation, are you right??

It was previously assumed that EXO is the most popular K-pop band, but it has been reported that the boys of EXO are not as popular as the girls of EXID among Netizens.

EXID, which was not even in the trajectory until the end of last year, has steadily climbed to the top, defeating every other band, including Girls' Generation and Big Bang. The level of popularity was measured by researching which South Korean star was searched the most number of times on the internet in the first half of 2015.

The result was revealed on 'One Night of TV Entertainment' on Wednesday, 19 August. According to the research, comedians Kim Gu Ra aka Kim Hyun-dong and Yoo Jae-suk are among the most searched Korean stars.

According to AllKPop, Suzy had the most "related searches", ranging from "Suzy Lee Min Ho" to "Suzy Lee Min Ho first meeting".

EXID topped the charts in the most number of articles as well. Also, more articles have been written about EXID than any other Korean celebrity, as of the first half of 2015. The girls were followed by celebrity chef Baek Jong-won, comedian Yoo Jae-suk, all-girl band After School and Big Bang.
